As someone who enjoys action-packed thrillers, I was excited to watch The Killer (2024), but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. Directed by John Woo, known for his iconic action sequences, I was hoping for a gripping story combined with intense scenes. However, the film left much to be desired.

First, the dialogue was weak, with too many forced exchanges that felt unnatural. The acting didn't help much either, as it seemed rushed and lacking depth. The pacing was uneven, and I found myself getting bored halfway through. Despite the high-budget special effects, they couldn’t save the film from its shortcomings. To add to that, there’s a particular character—a tiny 40kg fighter—who is portrayed as taking down anyone in her path, which just doesn’t make sense for the story.
